Awareness Through Movement (ATM) lessons are easy to do gentle mindful movement explorations.  Each lesson is organized around the improvement of a different aspect of human movement and functioning. During the lesson you are verbally led using guided attention through movement sequences. These mindful movement sequences may appear very simple and yet they enhance learning.  One is often astounded to discover at the end of a lesson improved balance, ease of movement, and a feeling of being calm and relaxed with a sense of presence in your body and yourself.  These improvements will often generalize to enhance other aspects of your life.

Classes have moved online for now!  Coming in the future classes will be IN-PERSON ALONG WITH ONLINE!  Recordings available to do when you like!

For Norton Neuroscience class please see information below.

Weely ATM classes are about one hour and you often are lying on the floor, sometimes seated in a chair and occasionally standing.  If you have trouble getting onto the floor, please contact me and we can make arrangements to have a table for you to lie on.  For an ONLINE class, if you can not get on the floor lying on a bed is fine.

Each weekly class may be taken independently, you don’t need to have taken previous classes to join at any time!

Please wear warm comfortable clothing.

For an ONLINE class, be sure to prepare by setting up a mat or blanket on the floor (unless you are on a bed).  Have a folded towel or small blanket nearby to have something flat under your head in case you need a head support while on your back or for lying on your side.

At some locations you may need to bring a mat (this is noted for each class below) but we do have extras!
